Statement / policy on appropriate use of information technology

I feel that cepa should take an active stance on avoidance of "big tech" and other undemocratically controlled technologies wherever possible, including AI. I also think we should make it explicitly part of our mission to promote open source technologies and the democratization of AI. This statement or policy should include a stance against undemocratic/non-transparent actions used to promote and approve data centers and refusal to take on work that requires us to advocate in favor of them.
